Mr. Northrup has been a leader in the information technology field for more than 25 years. His strategic vision of providing objective, high-quality consulting and value-based software integration services was the basis for forming Blue Heron Consulting in 1999. As a project and software applications manager for a multi-million dollar CIS replacement project in the mid to late '90s, Steve realized that he was at a great disadvantage with the limited resource options available to him for deployment on large software- or business-related projects. Options at his disposal such as high-end package vendors; high-priced accounting/consulting firms and low-cost, unspecialized local contract agencies all came with major drawbacks. Hence, Steve built Blue Heron to offer the marketplace value-based resource options and consulting services with one goal in mind: to provide project managers and company executives the means to implement high-quality, cost-effective business and enterprise software solutions that are in line with budget thresholds. This vision has saved Blue Heron's clients millions of dollars and better positioned them to consistently meet mission-critical project deadlines. Mr. Northrup earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Roberts Wesleyan College in New York. |
