Blue Heron Consulting is dedicated to meeting the dynamic needs of today's businesses. Value based consulting and software integration services are the centerpieces of Blue Heron's service offerings. Blue Heron's executive team is committed to ensuring that the company can deliver products, services, and world-class consultants with the utmost focus on quality, objectivity, and affordability.
Stephen Northrup has been a leader in the information technology field for more than twenty-five years. His strategic vision of providing objective, high-quality consulting and value-based software integration services was the basis for forming Blue Heron Consulting (BHC) in 1999. As a project and software applications manager for a multi-million dollar CIS replacement project in the mid- to late- 90s, Mr. Northrup realized that he was at a great disadvantage with the limited resource options available to him for deployment on large software- or business-related projects. Options at his disposal such as high-end package vendors, high-priced accounting/consulting firms, and low-cost, unspecialized local contract agencies all came with major drawbacks. Hence, Mr. Northrup built Blue Heron to offer the marketplace value-based resource options and consulting services with one goal in mind — to provide project managers and company executives the means to implement high-quality, cost-effective business and enterprise software solutions that are in line with budget thresholds.
Consumers who travel by air have significantly benefited from the emergence of value-based airlines since the mid-1990s. Mr. Northrup's vision for Blue Heron is to change the landscape in the technology and software implementation world so that consumers can also save millions of dollars by having a company like Blue Heron that offers value-based services.
Since its inception and under his direction, Blue Heron has maintained a 100% track record of successful information system implementations. These projects have saved Blue Heron's clients millions of dollars and better positioned them to consistently meet mission-critical project deadlines. Mr. Northrup earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Roberts Wesleyan College in New York.
