Programmer Analyst: Nationwide-Experienced Gas / Electric CIS Programmer Analyst

We are now accepting resumes for immediate openings from people with skill sets in Gas / Electric CUSTOMER INFORMATION SYSTEM (CIS) customizations and implementations, application customization, interface development, and data migration/conversion. We are looking for individuals experienced with large CIS utility packages such as Oracle's Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), CIS PLUS®, CorDaptix™, and Peoplesoft's Revenue Management (CIS), SCT's Banner, IBM's CSS, Peace Software's Energy or Andersen's Customer/1.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must have at the very least, 2 years of experience with a Gas / Electric Utility Company specifically working on Billing and Metering Projects. UTILITY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED including business knowledge of CIS, Billing, Metering, Credit /Collections, Service Orders, Payments, Rates, and Report Generation, as well as CIS system interfaces.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Design and develop software specifications, implement code, and unit test. Ensure conformance to software configuration management and software quality assurance best practices. Participate in resolution of all problems, software bugs, issues, concerns, and questions. Provide client training as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years experience with Gas, Electric, or Water Utility Customer Information Systems
• Extensive hands-on experience with Requirements, Design, Specifications, Construction and Testing
• Desired mainframe/technical background in Cobol, Natural, DB2, Adabas, Oracle's Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), CIS PLUS®, CorDaptix™, and Peoplesoft's Revenue Management (CIS).
• Desired Client/Server/technical background in SQL Server, UNIX, SQR, Micro Focus Cobol, Crystal Reports.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• US Citizenship, US Green Card, H1B Visa, or TN Visa.

LOCATION:
Extended travel or temporary relocation to client sites located in various cities across the US.
