Responsibilities
Document project requirements and negotiate customer expectations. Manage scope and schedule, working within a budget and with assigned resources to attain milestone dates. Provide overall project leadership, establish and monitor performance metrics, prepare and maintain project documentation, ensure adherence to software QA and configuration management standards, manage business and project issues, manage risks and develop contingency plans and report status to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- 5-10 years of Project Management experience, with proven ability to successfully manage a project budget, schedule, scope, etc. utilizing MS Project.
- Must continuously adhere to following a formal software development methodology.
- Strong leadership skills, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills (negotiation and consensus building).
- Must have a proven history of effectively managing a strong-willed project team.
- Must possess a Project Management (PMP) Certification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with ERP System Implementation and /or Customer Information/Billing Systems in the Gas/Electric Utility Industry desired.
- Experience in facilitating and presenting to Senior Management Teams.
- MUST be willing and have the ability to travel at least 75%.
- Be a US Citizen or possess US Green Card, TN Visa.
