Benton Public Utility District (PUD), based in Kennewick, Washington has gone live to production with their new Oracle CC&B system.  As the prime system integrator, Blue Heron Consulting utilized a unique pricing/delivery model tailored to Benton PUD's needs.   This specially tailored approach enabled Benton PUD to achieve their goal of implementing the most cost effective, lowest risk upgrade from its PeopleSoft ERM CIS platform to Oracle CC&B.  One of the major keys to this successful project was the synergy and team effort that was developed since day one between the Blue Heron consultants and the functional and technical subject matter experts from Benton PUD.   Benton PUD leveraged Blue Heron's knowledge transfer methods to satisfy another important corporate objective -- achieve application support self reliance.  The accelerated development of Benton PUD team's CC&B skills during the span of this project (both functional and technical) will translate into significant total cost of ownership savings (TCO) for the utility for many years to come.

This accomplishment marks the second significant "Go-Live" event in the past week led by Blue Heron Consulting.  On November 1st, 2011, a successful CC&B project with Golden State Water Company was announced.  These back to back successful Oracle CC&B implementations further demonstrates Blue Heron's position as the premier value system integrator in the utility CIS industry.   Customers and stakeholders of utilities that demand their utilities do more with less, can now count on Blue Heron to be the best LOW RISK/LOW COST option in the market.
