Blue Heron Successfully Completes SAP® ERP Implementation at Monroe County

Rochester, N.Y. — Blue Heron Consulting Corporation is pleased to announce the successful completion of the SAP® ERP implementation at Monroe County (www.monroecounty.gov). Blue Heron performed the Quality Assurance and Project Governance role over the ERP installation. Monroe County selected SAP® as the software solution to replace several aging legacy systems (HR, Payroll, Purchasing, etc.). Blue Heron's primary responsibility was to monitor and report out on the performance of the system integrator (IBM®) as well as the software vendor (SAP®) particularly in the areas of risk/issue, budget, schedule, and cost management. Blue Heron Consulting services have been retained to support post-implementation work and training.
